The 2014 Mercedes S 65 AMG (pictured) revealed ahead of LA & Tokyo debuts
We’re assuming that the new 2014 Mercedes S 65 AMG will remain the new range-topper for the S-Class, but with Pullman versions of the S-Class still to come – perhaps with the Maybach badge – that’s not a certainty. But for now, the newly-revealed S65 AMG is indeed the top of the range in the new S-Class and will get its public debut at both the Los Angles and Tokyo Motor Shows later this month. We’ve actually already seen a photo of the new S65 AMG back in September when Mercedes were busy filming a promo, but now we get the full details ahead of debut.
The Volvo S60 Polestar has been revealed as a 508bhp version of the S60 T6 with widened track and huge turbo. We knew there was a Volvo S60 Polestar on the way, because Volvo teased us with it. What we didn’t know, and still don’t for sure, is whether the S60 Polestar is a one-off like the C30 Polestar or whether it will become a production model.
A top luxury car finance house has revealed that the Range Rover Evoque is now the most popular financed car. Land Rover is still struggling to keep up with demand for the Range Rover Evoque, and is busy recruiting like mad and moving production to a 24hr, three shift system to help keep up with the number of Evoques flying out of showrooms. In the first year on sale, the Evoque racked up sales of 18,000 and so in demand is the Evoque that Land Rover are even resorting to trying to block grey market sales.
